Description

Sexual health programmes for gay and bisexual men invariably focus on reducing STI risk, if not only on HIV infection risk. However, reducing STI/HIV is not the only imperative in men's lives. Safer sex was invented so people could have sex in an epidemic, not simply to prevent infections. This talk proposes that "the best sex with the least harm" is a more realistic and consensus based goal for sexual health programmes, and will share emerging data on what constitutes the best sex life for gay and bisexual men, and how to measure it.
